Chromia, a cutting-edge Layer-1 blockchain platform, has introduced a new incentivized testnet with a reward pool of 250,000 CHR tokens.
Participants, including users and developers, will put Chromia’s capabilities to the test in various sectors such as gaming, real-world assets (RWAs), digital collectibles, and sports.
During the testnet, users will have the opportunity to engage with decentralized applications (dApps) and Chromia’s official wallet, earning CHR tokens in preparation for the platform’s upcoming mainnet launch.
The testing program consists of three distinctive initiatives, each running on Chromia’s mainnet candidate release.
Alex Mizrahi, co-founder of Chromia, expressed excitement about the chance to showcase the platform’s technology and involve the community in shaping the future of the Chromia ecosystem.
The first two testnet initiatives, HackNet and ProjectNet, along with QuestNet, offer unique opportunities for different types of participants.
HackNet is geared towards coders and tech-savvy individuals who will evaluate Chromia’s core software and provide feedback on various scenarios, offering rewards of up to 100,000 CHR.
ProjectNet focuses on developers working with Rell to create dApps on Chromia, with submissions accepted until July 26, 2024, and a reward pool of 50,000 CHR distributed among the top 3 projects.
QuestNet, launching on June 18, targets everyday users, providing a user-friendly interface for interacting with dApps and network features like the Chromia Vault, with a prize pool of 100,000 CHR up for grabs.
