Chromia, a cutting-edge Layer-1 blockchain platform focused on relational technology, has introduced a testnet program with enticing rewards totaling 250,000 CHR tokens.
Participants, including users and developers, will explore the diverse capabilities of Chromia within various sectors such as gaming, real-world assets (RWAs), digital collectibles, and sports.
The testnet allows users to engage with decentralized applications (dApps) and Chromia’s official wallet, enabling them to earn CHR tokens in advance of the platform’s official launch.
The testing program consists of three distinct initiatives, each operating on Chromia’s mainnet candidate release, showcasing the platform’s robustness and reliability.
Alex Mizrahi, co-founder of Chromia, emphasized the importance of community involvement in shaping the future of the ecosystem during the testnet phase.
The first two initiatives, HackNet and ProjectNet, offer opportunities for technical users and developers, respectively. HackNet focuses on evaluating core software and feedback on edge cases, with rewards totaling 100,000 CHR.
ProjectNet invites developers to submit decentralized applications built on Chromia using Rell by July 26, 2024, with a reward pool of 50,000 CHR distributed among the top 3 projects.
QuestNet, set to launch on June 18, targets everyday users by providing a user-friendly dashboard for seamless interaction with dApps and network features. A prize pool of 100,000 CHR is up for grabs for participants in this initiative.
