Coinbase, a popular cryptocurrency exchange, has unveiled a new feature on its non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace – an AI-generated NFT tool called “Instamint.” This innovative tool allows users to easily create their own NFTs using artificial intelligence technology.
For a limited time, Coinbase is offering users a free NFT creation experience, although they will still need to cover Ethereum gas fees for blockchain transactions. The Instamint feature is currently in beta version, allowing users to upload an image of their choice to generate a unique NFT. Users can also specify the name, description, and price (starting from $0.01) of their NFT.
Coinbase joins the ranks of exchanges embracing AI technology in the NFT space. Last year, Binance introduced Binance Bicasso, an AI NFT generator that enables users to create personalized digital artworks using text or images. This shift towards AI technology highlights the industry’s dedication to leveraging its potential, making 2023 a significant year for AI’s impact on NFT platforms.
In May 2022, Coinbase announced the launch of its NFT platform, allowing users to issue, buy, and showcase collectible digital assets. With the introduction of the Instamint feature, Coinbase continues to innovate in the NFT space, catering to the growing demand for unique and digital collectibles.
