The NFT market had a slow week, with sales decreasing by 7.5% to $121.4 million on June 1st.
Ethereum continued to dominate as the leading blockchain for NFT transactions, with total sales of $37.43 million, despite an 11.24% drop from the previous week. Bitcoin followed, bringing in $27.21 million, reflecting a 12.88% decrease. Solana-based NFTs generated just over $19 million, and Polygon stood out with a 27.10% increase in sales to approximately $15.6 million.
In terms of monthly sales volume, Ethereum led with $163.7 million in May, a 55% decrease from April. Bitcoin saw a 73.44% drop, earning $158.5 million, while Solana brought in just over $94 million. Blast showed a remarkable 519.17% increase in sales volume over the month.
The most expensive NFT of the week was Azuki #3374, selling for $393,112 on Ethereum. Over the month, CryptoPunks #741 fetched $792,046, making it the most expensive NFT. Among the top NFT collections, Uncategorized Ordinals led with $7,810,518 in sales for the week.
In terms of monthly sales volume, Bitcoin’s Uncategorized Ordinals collection maintained its top spot with more than $48.6 million, despite a 70.13% decrease. Blast’s Fantasy Top collection saw a 674.89% increase in sales volume to over $46 million. Guild of Guardians also experienced a significant uptick in sales.
