The Milady meme project has unveiled the Meme Phone as part of its roadmap presentation. According to the project’s statement, the limited edition phone for owners of Milady Meme Coin (LADYS) showcases the project’s dedication to “innovation and creativity.”
In the initial phase, the project plans to release 100 phones. Those who own the phone will receive exclusive rewards, including the distribution of 1 million LADYF for each phone purchased, along with a unique NFT to authenticate the owner. The price of the phone is set at 2 Solana (SOL), equivalent to $364 at the current rate.
Prior to this, the Milady NFT project successfully raised over $18 million in SOL. Following the announcement of the presale of the new meme coin Milady Wif Hat, the Milady NFT collection team confirmed that the target amount had been met, and any excess funds would be returned to the investors.
However, the project team has now changed course on the proposed use of SOL meme coins. They have assured investors that their funds will be returned, and the focus will shift to other initiatives.
In March, Milady and Remilia founder Charlotte Fang acknowledged a security breach in the Treasury addresses, resulting in significant financial losses. Fang attributed the breach to “unknown malware” that infiltrated her password manager and gained access to all seed phrases, leading to the theft of around 850 Ethereum (ETH) from Remilia’s treasury.
Milady, launched in 2021, features a collection of 10,000 NFT images of an anime profile created by Fang. In May 2023, Tesla CEO Elon Musk publicly endorsed Milady NFTs by sharing a meme using images from the collection.
